Primary Responsibilities

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Sales and will work closely with marketing on the execution of Reliant’s prospect outreach program.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will receive guidance and mentoring from the Director of Sales with the goal of being promoted into an Account Executive role within a year.

The ideal candidate for this position is a college graduate with 1-3 years of sales or marketing experience.  A background in technology and/or experience with social media campaigns are both a plus.

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic self-starter who is outgoing and success-driven, to work with a diverse team in a dynamic and changing environment.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will work out of Reliant’s NYC office.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Responds to client requests for information and assists in problem resolution.
  • Working with Marketing on execution and maintenance of Reliant’s prospect database outreach program
  • Driving engagement through multiple channels including social media, calls, and email
  • Establishing and growing relationships
  • Working with Director of Sales on bringing prospects through the sales process
  • Representing Reliant at trade shows and industry events
  • Participation in weekly sales meetings
  • Use of to manage multiple aspects of the sales process
Education and Experience
  • BS/BA or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of sales experience or similar
  • IT and retail technology sales, product experience preferred.

Type and Size of Projects
  • Target customers are chain store retailers, hospitality, and restaurant operators with 100 or more locations.
  • Reliant’s Redbox Platform solution, consulting services, and managed services are the products we sell
  • Execute on lead generation, outreach, and call program activities, both standalone and built around specific campaigns.
  • Engagement with target prospects in Reliant’s database
  • Excellent verbal/written skills necessary.
  • Uses telephone & other IT tools to interface with customers to present Reliant value proposition to a variety of audiences: IT director and executive level
  • Participate in trade shows and other events
  • Usage of Salesforce to manage multiple aspects of the sales process
  • Coordinates activities with Marketing and Sales Management on a regular basis
  • Increase coverage of focus segments in target market
  • Increase Reliant brand/market share
  • Develop accounts that will bring incremental revenue for Reliant today and in the future
  • Develop partners that will bring additional revenue
